The main purpose of this bibliography is to list the MOST IMPORTANT literature in field of cultural landscapes – not the complete literature (which is impossible anyway). The bibliography is continually updated, with the most recent version is published below, with a link to previous versions.

It is not singularly a bibliography of the publications of the committee or the members of the committee, and it also does not aim to pay tribute to well known scholars in this field (this might be a different publication).

This bibliography aims to be an easy-to-handle working instrument for colleagues working in this field focused on the international perspective of the field.  Different regions and/or countries will have their own key literature based on regional perspectives.
