Convenor: Nancy Pollock- Ellwand Members of the ISCCL frequently alert the Committee to significant heritage places threatened by inapproriate activities and development. The Committee draws attention to such threatened places by taking action through writing to relevant officials and publicising such situations. The aim of the Sub-Committee on Heritage Alerts is to investigate different ways that the Committee can take action and to recommend a consistent approach to responding to threats to significant cultural landscapes.
